Chocolate Peanut Butter cups

Prep Notes:

Prepare all your ingredients  and container beforehand to save time.

INGREDIENTS

  • 200 grams of dark chocolate

  • 3 tbsp of peanut butter or nut butter of choice

  • A sprinkle of cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup ( optional)

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  1.  Melt the chocolate and place a bit in the mold or mini cupcake paper. Place it in the fridge to hold while preparing the peanut butter mix.

  2. Mix the peanut butter, coconut oil, a dash of cinnamon  and maple syrup  together in a bowl. Add this peanut butter layer above the chocolate layer  and place it in the fridge for 10 minutes.

  3. Add the remaining melted  chocolate layer  above the peanut butter and place it in the fridge for a few hours! 

  4. Remove it from the mold and enjoy!

NOTES

  • Feel free to add any additional ingredients.

  • Feel free to add your sweetener of choice like maple and honey.

  • Omit the maple syrup if you prefer it unsweetened.

  • Feel free to use any nut butter of choice instead of peanut butter.

  • Use a piping bag to control melted chocolate and for easier clean up.

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 4 days!
