Prepare all your ingredients and the container you want to store it in!

Cooking Time: 15-20 minutes

Yields: 2-4 servings

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup milk of choice (oat milk used in the recipe)

  • 2 tbsp cornstarch

  • 1 tbsp of rose water

  • Sprinkle of cardamom

  • 1-2 strands of saffron

  • 1 tbsp sweetener of choice (maple syrup)

  • 1 handful of pecan crushed (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Infuse saffron, cardamom, and rose water. Allow it to infuse for 5-10 minutes or longer for better flavor and color.

  2. Mix cornstarch with the milk of your choice.

  3. Heat milk with cornstarch, saffron infusion, and sweetener of choice. Heat until a pudding-like texture forms. Add the nuts of your choice.

  4. Pour into the container of your choice and allow it to cool. It will thicken as it cools down.

  5. Add topping of choice and enjoy!

NOTES

For extra sweetness, add sweeteners of choice like honey, maple syrup, agave, monk fruit extract, etc.

Feel free to add any additional ingredients!
