Blueberry chia jam

Preparation:
Prepare all your ingredients and jar beforehand to save time.
Ingredients:
2 tbsp chia seeds
1 cup of fresh or frozen blueberries
1 tbsp maple syrup or sweetener of choice (optional)
A few drops of pure vanilla extract
1 tbsp of lemon juice
Steps:
Add the blueberries to a pan with a splash of water until soft and squishable. Add the chia seeds, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and maple syrup to the blueberries.
Allow it to simmer until combined and has a jelly-like texture (about 5 minutes).
Allow it to cool and pour it in the jar. Once cooled to room temperature, close the jar and place it in the refrigerator.
Tips:
Feel free to add any additional ingredients.
You can make it a mixed berries version by adding raspberries, blackberries and strawberries
Add fruits like berries for antioxidants.
Feel free to add your sweetener of choice like maple and honey.
