bLUE SPIRULINA latte

Prepare all your ingredients and glass to serve to save time!

Yields: 1 serving

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp blue spirulina powder

  • 1/2 cup of any dairy or plant-based milk ( I used soy milk)

  • Drop of maple syrup or honey (optional for sweetness)

  • 1 tbsp boiling water

Directions

  1. Using a bowl use the bamboo whisker to get rid of any clumps.

  2. Add a little bit of hot water(not boiling) to the blue spirulina powder and mix until there are no clumps.

  3. Add the sweetener of choice to the blue spirulina mix and make sure it is mixed well!

  4. Pour the milk of choice in your glass with some ice and add the blue spirulina mix for the cold version of this latte!

    Heat the milk for the hot version of this latte and froth the milk if desired! Pour in glass & enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to use any milk of choice! Soy milk froths easily if you prefer a layer of foam on top!

You can add sweetness like honey, maple syrup, sugar free syrup or agave for sweetness! You can skip the maple syrup or sweetener of choice if you prefer it unsweetened!

If you don’t have a bamboo whisker, a handheld milk frother can work too!

Add coffee to latte if desired.
