Healthy Hot chocolate

Prepare all your ingredients and glass to serve to save time!

Yields: 1 serving

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 1 cup of any dairy or plant-based milk ( I used soy milk)

  • Drop of maple syrup (optional for sweetness)

  • Sprinkle of cinnamon

  • 3 tbsp semi-sweet/dark chocolate chips

  • 1 drop of vanilla extract

Directions

  1. In a pot , add your milk of choice, cocoa powder, sweetener of choice chocolate chips, cinnamon & vanilla. Keep it on low heat until the chocolate melts.

  2. Pour the hot chocolate in your glass and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to use any milk of choice! Soy milk froths easily if you prefer a layer of foam on top!

You can add sweetness like honey, maple syrup, sugar free syrup or agave for sweetness! You can skip the maple syrup or sweetener of choice if you prefer it unsweetened!
