Matcha latte

Prepare all your ingredients and glass to serve to save time!

Yields: 1 serving
Ingredients
1 tbsp matcha powder
1/2 cup of any dairy or plant-based milk ( I used soy milk)
Drop of maple syrup (optional for sweetness)
1/4 cup water
1 drop of vanilla extract
Directions
Using a bowl use the bamboo whisker to get rid of any clumps.
Add a little bit of hot water(not boiling) to the matcha and mix until there are no clumps.
Add the maple syrup and vanilla to the matcha mix and make sure it is mixed well!
Pour the milk of choice in your glass and add the matcha mix ! Enjoy!
Notes
Feel free to use any milk of choice! Soy milk froths easily if you prefer a layer of foam on top!
You can add sweetness like honey, maple syrup, sugar free syrup or agave for sweetness! You can skip the maple syrup or sweetener of choice if you prefer it unsweetened!
If you don’t have a bamboo whisker, a handheld milk frother can work too!
